Security in IT is one of the biggest issues for organisations operating in today’s world. In the private sector if a company’s security is breached in some way then its performance, profitability and reputation could be compromised. For public sector organisations the concern is just as great as matters of national security and public interest come into play.

The Computing Security Awards honour the products and services that have made a positive contribution to making organisations more secure. The finalists were determined by readers of Network Computing and Computing Security and recognises excellence in IT security.
