Policy & procedure management

Manage and distribute the organisations policies
and procedures

What does policy management do?

Policy Management enables organisations to control the entire Policy life-cycle from one central location.

Using NETconsents enforcement technology employees are delivered only the current version of a policy and a range of controls ensure that it is read and understood. Those controls include presenting the policy to the employee before they log into their desktop, monitoring the time it takes for the user to read the document and providing a test to ensure the employee has understood.

All of these measures can be configured to the organisations’ specification, permitting the user to defer reading the policy for a number of days or preventing access to the network using NETconsent’s enforcement technology.

The NETconsent Kiosk provides employees one place for all of their policies, training and compliance documents, making it easy to go straight to the most relevant information.

Linking with NETconsents training management system employees can receive training on the policies they are signing, deepening their understanding and importance of why they need to adhere to them.

Providing one central hub for all the organisation’s policies, they are easily managed and any version control is administered and tracked through the system.

Administrators can effectively distribute policies to the relevant users, these could be new hires, or a new policy or a change in an existing one could initiate a rollout.

Each piece of content has parameters that  administrators can choose to include for policies, these include setting and recording the reading time of the policy, implementing an exam after the policy has been read and enforcing the user read and adhere to the policy before continuing to log in to their system.

Policy manager works in conjunction with NETconsent training management system to provide training materials to support the corresponding policy.
