NETconsent version 5.4.0 has been launched, this is a major release which includes new and enhanced functionality, including support for the upload and delivery of SCORM packages.

New functionality

Support has been added for SCORM packages

NETconsent now supports the upload of SCORM 1.2 and 2004 packages  within site administration and the enforcement of the SCORM packages to the users in the end user interface.

Customers can upload SCORM packages from any of their preferred providers, enforce them for required users and provide a number of days for the user to complete the training package, negating the need for an online LMS to host the package and the overhead of chasing non-compliant users.

New active documents tree views available

A new setting has been added in site administration.  This permits customers to decide how they would like the active documents tree to display from a choice of 3 levels.

The active documents is a central library available within the end user interface where users can access the current version of any content that has been deployed to them.

Enhanced functionality

Enhanced initial distribution mode options added

IDM (Initial Distribution Mode) functionality has been enhanced to allow for auto-accept filtering for either:

1) ALL existing users

This can be used for example with Induction documents, they can be presented to only new starters and not existing users

2) ONLY those that had previously “Accepted” (NEW)

This would be used where an enforced document has been activated, a percentage of users have accepted it, then a minor update is required which would not warrant users having to re-accept the updated version. By selecting this new option, only those that had previously NOT accepted it will be presented with it for the action (in addition to any new users).

First presentation date enhanced for home workers
An enhancement has been made that better records “First Presentation Date” relating to Non-Mandatory content viewed by those using the End Point Agent.
End user interface enhanced to read -ku flag on start

The end user interface (Kiosk) has been updated to read the -ku flag on start when using the Endpoint Agent.  When a user unlocks their PC for the first time that day this flag will bring the kiosk to the foremost of the screen and remain in place if there are Mandatory actions outstanding, so the user cannot ignore it.

Documents not actioned and documents not presented report enhancement

A new column has been added to the documents not actioned and documents not presented reports that allow admins / managers to see the date a user first skipped applicable content in the end user interface, this will permit Admin / managers to get an idea of when the user should accept the content by.
