NETconsent is proud to announce the release of NETconsent v5.2.0. This release includes new functional enhancement’s to assist with working from home for users affected by COVID-19.
This post details the new functionality which has been added to v5.2.0 of NETconsent.

New functionality
Direct provision of user against specific content
Content that is uploaded into NETconsent can be delivered to all users or members of a distribution list. A new feature has been added where individual users can be added to the distribution group for one off needs, for example a health & safety policy for a site the user needs to visit could be provided to them for acceptance on an ad-hoc basis.
Parameters for the Endpoint agent to aid home working
A new parameter field has been added into site administration where NETconsent kiosk parameters can be set. These parameters will apply automatically to the NETconsent kiosk for any users who are running the endpoint agent. This enhances the end user experience and centralised control with more people working from home remotely. This will provide the same functionality for home workers as users within the office.
Web API Development
NETconsent’s 3rd party application APIs enable applications to communicate with NETconsent and provision enforcement of content to users. This may include remedial training or policy acknowledgement before undertaking certain activities or having performed an action in another system. For example a user clicks on a phishing email link, the phishing tool can communicate with NETconsent and provision an applicable training module.
